I should Have Been a Boy Scout.

this post has nothing to do with boy scouts, I wont even get into that...

(I pretty much was one tho, that could be a whole different post.)

The point of this is that I am super resourceful. (that's one of the Boy Scout adjectives right?)

OK. Lets get to the point.

So. I'm housesitting and i wanted to repaint my finger nails and I had glitter nail polish on, which is a total pain in the ass to get off.. and I didn't bring cotton balls and they didn't have any here, so I tried using toilet paper, but the stupid glitter kept pulling it apart. I was getting super pissed. It wasn't coming off, only the paint underneath was coming off...

I then looked through my bag I had hoping I had some cotton balls in there (sometimes I throw them in there) anyways... I didn't have any... just a couple tampons and an ALWAYS pad... I was like "THIS HAS GOT TO WORK!"

I pulled out the pad and ripped it open. I kind of pulled it apart so the cotton part was exposed to get the polish off, but then I realized that the kinda weird plasticy lining on top was totally useful to get the effing glitter off too!! it was sooo amazing how well it worked! I have never been able to get the stupid shit off my nails with out practically scrubbing them with steel wool.

Glitter is like the herpes of the craft supplies and apparently of nail polish, it just never goes away. Unless you use a ALWAYS!
